If in the unfortunate event your print arrives damaged whilst in transit, please contact me within 3 days of receiving your parcel by emailing: firstname.lastname@example.org, and provide photos of the damage. Please keep the print and all packaging as you may be required to return the original print to process your claim.
Can I cancel or modify my order?
Once an order is placed, it is unable to be cancelled or modified.
How will my print be packaged? Will it come rolled?
Unframed prints will be shipped in a recyclable cardboard tube or flat box, secured with paper tape, compostable stickers, and wrapped in acid-free tissue paper for protection of your print. Your print will arrive with care instructions and how to best handle the paper for framing, accompanied with a signed Certificate of Authenticity.
Plastic has been consciously eliminated where possible, however prints delivered in tubes will have plastic sealed caps, which I have not been able to eliminate — yet!
- A4 and A3 prints will be delivered flat in a sturdy mailer.
- A2 and A1 prints will be delivered rolled in a mailing tube.
What paper do you use for printing?
I’ve selected to print on archival fine art Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308gsm — a 100% cotton, white smooth paper with matte surface finish, bringing out the rich tones and textures of every image. The cotton is derived from textile waste — more info on this to come!
What does 'limited edition' mean?
A limited edition print will only be printed a certain number of times. I have selected a limited edition of 100 prints across all sizes offered, and once sold out they will not be reprinted. A signed certificate of authenticity is included with every print.
What size prints do you offer?
I have chosen the A series* paper sizing for my fine art prints, which is a familiar paper format to most, and makes finding a frame you love fairly easy!
Print sizes in the A series include:
- Small A4 Print (210mm x 297mm)
- Medium A3 Print (297mm x 420mm)
- Large A2 Print (420mm x 594mm)
- Extra Large A1 Print (594mm x 841mm)
*A small selection of prints are not available in the Extra Large A1 size.
Every print size includes a white border.
How do I make sure I order the right size?
I have chosen the A series paper sizing for my fine art prints, which is a familiar paper format to most, and makes finding a frame you love fairly easy!
I recommend measuring the space you intend to hang or lean your new print, so you can get an idea of what size frame will be best suited — and how much impact you want to have!
You can do this either with a trusty tape measure, or, if you’re a very visual person like me, find some existing pieces of A4 paper you have (like a standard letter or invoice), as this gives you the starting point of how the different print sizes scale up.
The best way to visualise the sizing is:
A3 = two A4
A2 = two A3 or four A4
A1 = two A2 or four A3 or eight A4 (it’s a biggy!)
I suggest sticking your loose pieces of A4 paper to the wall to gauge the different sizes. This is the easiest way to determine what will be the best fit for your space.
Can I order a print in a different size than what is offered?
Yes, if the A-series are not quite right for your space and you would like another size please get in touch via the Contact page with your preferred size and I will provide a custom quotation.
Can I order a custom print of another photograph not listed?
If you’ve spotted a photograph of mine you love via my Instagram page that is not currently available for purchase in the print shop, please get in touch via the Contact page and include a link to the image you are interested in. I will see what I can do!
Do you sell gift cards?
Sure do! If you’re looking to surprise someone so they can select their own print, you can purchase a gift card for digital download on the Gift Card product page. Your shop gift card will never expire.
Do you offer framing with print orders?
All prints are sold unframed. I recommend you take your print directly to a local professional framer to frame your print. Professional framing will last much longer and ensure the print is secure and prevent any movement inside the frame.
I hope to offer a framing service as part of your online order experience in the future! For now, please see below for my tips for framing.
Do you have any tips for framing my print?
For some easy hanging ideas, check out my Frame Guide on the blog for some of my framing recommendations and inspiration. I’ve purposefully made prints available in the A series paper format, which is a familiar paper format to most, and makes finding a frame you love fairly easy.
Can I copy or use your images on my own website, blog, business card, etc?
